Truly an excellent scifi viewing experience. We hope to have this I'll not recite again what it's about. We do Not Host or Upload any Video, Films, Media Files. by It stayed in my memory for years, and then in October 2015 I saw it with a tempting price and bought it. Waste of time & money in my book.

What I will say is that Lawrence is wonderful in a role that requires an Actor's solo acting chops to be on display, as they were (in spades) for Will Smith in I am Legend. Bruno Lawrence plays a scientist/researcher who awakens one morning to find that, apparently, he is the only one left on Earth, due to the catastrophic failure of an Energy Project he was working on. Geoff Murphy has taken a man-alone theme and turned it imaginatively to strong and refreshing effect in The Quiet Earth. It's a thoughtful look into a situation that we can only guess at how we would react if we woke up one morning to find we were the last man or woman on earth. As this awareness sends him to the brink of madness — see the excerpt above — he discovers two other survivors. Sorry for the inconvinience it may cause.
